IMS gives utmost importance to assist its students in getting suitable placements after successful completion of their studies. We, at IMS, therefore, have established a Corporate Resource Centre to take care of the Training and Placement needs of the students.

The basic idea of Summer Training is to expose students to real world of corporate life. It gives students an opportunity to apply the knowledge and and skills in the real problem and also helps them understand the balance between theoretical inputs and corporate practices.The Summer internship starts in the beginning of June and the duration is generally eight weeks.

The committee has been running successful since 1998 and has carved a place for itself in terms of knowledge creation, sharing as well as in placement of its students.

The placement cell of the institute along with the support of the members of the board of governors and the Academic Council provide necessary support in the final placement of the students.

CRC also organizes :

• Interface Sessions with representatives of Business organizations.
• Inviting top business executives and business magnets to interact with the students.
• Organizes Seminars , Symposia and workshops to  broaden their mental horizons.
• Organizes Mock Interviews and Group Discussions with the experts to develop the confidence of the students.
• Regular Industrial visits to various organizations to make them understand the industrial processes.
• Assistance in Summer Training as well as final placement
