A warm welcome
|
With India fast emerging as a global Research and Development center and Noida as one of the ideal destinations for companies involved in work ranging from traditional areas to high end niche areas, the institutes like IMS-Noida become an obvious choice for the students at international level. Students from Thailand, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Mongolia, Malaysia and Bangladesh are studying at IMS-Noida in different courses. We have made special arrangements for providing quality education and international standard facilities to the students from other countries. The institute takes particular care of these students in order to make their stay comfortable. Highly comfortable boarding facility, coupled with food as per their taste is provided to them. An .Orientation Program is designed to make them aware about Jndia, its culture and also about IMS environment. Special classes are arranged to bring each student at par with Indian course terminal examinations. For any problem with communication in English, services are available to improve their skills. Our counsellors are there to assist and guide them. A special package for visiting other parts of India is also planned to help them appreciate rich cultural heritage of India. VISA
Students intending to stay in India can obtain a VISA from the nearest Indian Consulate, Embassy or a High Commission producing the following documents:
- A valid passport
- A letter from the Institution confirming admission
- Medical Insurance

Reception on Arrival
|
|
|
The Instituite takes care of foreign national students from the moment they land in India. Institute representatives normally assist to meet them on their arrival and guide them to place of their study and accommodation. This facility is however available to those students whose confirmation about the flight details are received well in advance to the International Coordinator.

International Meet and Greet Service
|
|
|
Each year our International Student Office runs a free welcoming Meet and Greet Service for international students arriving at IMS Noida. The International Welcome Team will meet you when you arrive, take you to accommodation and give you all the information you need to settle in during your first few days.

International Welcome Week
|
|
International students should arrive during International Welcome Week (July/August each year) to attend our essential free programme of information sessions and social events. The international orientation programme includes Campus and city tours, opening a bank account, workshops with advice on topics such as how to make IMS-Noida your home, how to make your money go further, keys to Indian culture and essential study skills plus the chance to talk to current and former IMS students about their experiences. International Welcome Week provides an excellent introduction to IMS-Noida and is a key part of a successful study experience. Students arriving in this week have the benefit of being able to complete tasks like opening a bank account, make friends, find out about essential services and adjust to the new environment before thy need to focus on their studies at the start of the academic session.

Registration and Academic Counselling

|
Enerolment to the Institute takes place in the induction week being organized by the Institute. Students are communicated in advance, the day, time and location of their enreolment. All registration formalities will be completed according to the time table you receive.
It is equally essential to be present for academic counsellng since it may range from an introduction to your course to planning the timetable of your modules. Any student who cannot be present at enerolment must inform the Admission Cell.
